Every February at CurlyRed, we donate 10% of our proceeds to two worthy nonprofits!
This year our Garrett County recipient is AAUW-Garrett Branch and our "beyond" recipient is The Deep Creek Dunk to benefit Special Olympics Maryland. You can read more about these fantastic non-profits below.
AAUW-Garrett Branch's mission is: Advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
AAUW-Garrett Branch has been in Garrett County since 1946. It is part of the national AAUW, which is the oldest and largest women’s equity organization. Our current priorities include scholarships for college women, supporting local programs for women and girls, and developing programs for branch members that are informative and fun.
On February 22, 2025, you can join the 26th Annual MSP/NRP Deep Creek Dunk and take a daring dip into the frozen Deep Creek Lake to benefit the 19,871 athletes and Unified® teammates of Special Olympics Maryland!
Special Olympics is a global sports movement that unleashes the human spirit every day around the world through the transformative power and joy of sport. Through programming in sports, health, education and community building, Special Olympics is tackling the inactivity, stigma, isolation, and injustice that people with intellectual disabilities (ID) face.
