Featured Client: Blush'd Beauty Bar

First, a bit of history: Sunkissed Tanning was established in 2013 by owner Alice when she decided to venture away from her 28-year career as a dump truck driver to pursue a bigger dream of owning her own business. Alice brought on her daughter, Hanna, as co-owner and service provider to help build on to the business. Hanna, having similar dreams like her mother, attended Morgantown Beauty College in 2020 and became a licensed nail technician and skin therapist and so Blush’d Beauty Bar was born!

At Blush’d Beauty Bar, Alice, Hanna and their staff strive to give the very best salon experience, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated to persevere throughout the rest of your day. Blush’d Beauty values educating each client before and after their services to ensure the best results and never leave you guessing.

Alice and Hanna approached CurlyRed about creating branding and a brand new web presence around this new name. Our team at CurlyRed wanted to give them something fun and playful and yet a true reflection of the level of professionalism they bring to their business. We settled on a vintage-inspired type treatment in a gray and pink color palette (inspired by the salon's decor!). We then carried over the theme to the website—converting the imagery to grayscale so the pink text would pop in contrast. Hand-drawn iconography is used on the service pages, and we feature their Facebook feed right on the homepage.
