Featured Client: Consumer Credit Counseling Service of MD & DE

According to TechTarget, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is a term used to describe policies and programs that promote the representation and participation of different groups of individuals, including people of different ages, races and ethnicities, abilities and disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientations. This also covers people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills and expertise.

CurlyRed partnered with Emily of Step Up Strategies, when their client, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of MD & DE (otherwise known as CCCSMD), wanted to update their branding to announce that they are a non-profit dedicated to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. CCCSMD promotes fair treatment, opportunity, access, and advancement for all – regardless of race, color, gender, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, and other classifications protected by applicable law. They strive to create an inclusive workplace that celebrates and values diversity and reflects the communities they serve.

In light of this, they approached CurlyRed about creating DEI branding that would work with their existing brand identity. We took the "needle" in the compass of CCCSMD's main logo and gave it a rainbow treatment, and then choose shades of purple as a tertiary color for the text. The final result is a bold, unwavering visual statement.

Here's what Emily at Step Up Strategies had to say: The CurlyRed team recently took on a project for us to create a DEI logo for one of our clients. They created a beautiful DEI logo and also helped us improve the company's existing logo. We were very impressed with her timeliness, attention to details and creativity. We look forward to working with her on future projects!
