In the 2022 Legislative Session, the Maryland General Assembly passed Senate Bill 474, sponsored by Senators George Edwards, Paul Corderman and Katie Hester. The legislation called for the creation of the Senator George C. Edwards Fund and established the Western Maryland Economic Future Investment Board to review, evaluate and rate applications for funding from the program. It also made this program a part of the Tri-County Council of Western Maryland, which staffs the board and administers the fund.
When Andrew Sargent, Senior Business Development Representative at the Maryland Department of Commerce, reached out to CurlyRed about branding and a new website for this fund, we were excited to create elegant branding, inspired by the Maryland state flag. We then wanted the custom website to be an easy-to-use, responsive solution featuring beautiful regional imagery.
Here's what Andrew Sargent had to say:
“CurlyRed recently created a website and digital branding/marketing guide for an extensive program I am involved with. Not only did they nail the logo on the first go, but the website is getting lots of very positive feedback. The process was seamless from start to finish, and the price was very reasonable. We really could not have asked for more out of this effort- CurlyRed understood our needs quickly and produced a terrific result!”
Thanks Andrew! We're so happy that you're so happy!
