As much as we love our office space in historic Mountain Lake Park, we've been longing to be part of the downtown Oakland community for as long as we've resided here in Garrett County, Maryland.
Oakland has an amazingly rich history and was accepted as an official “Arts and Entertainment District” in 2016. We are proud to announce that CurlyRed now has a second location—a storefront office space at 204 Alder Street (which just happens to be on the Autumn Glory parade route)!
How did this come to be? Well this past fall, a company called Craeve & Co. approached CurlyRed about creating its branding, identity system and fully custom and responsive WordPress website. Craeve & Co. specializes in sales and marketing strategy for the foodservice industry, and CEO Chelsea Stuck has over over 12 years of high-level sales management experience. She had seen our work that we created for her business parter, Mikey Virts, when he ran for the Maryland House of Delegates.
After developing a professional relationship and personal friendship with both Chelsea and Mikey, we had to say "yes" when they approached us about sharing an office space. So CurlyRed and Craeve will remain separate entities, but both companies will be working out of the 204 Alder St, office space, and we hope to collaborate on many future projects.
This new space is also perfect for meeting with clients, giving presentations and participating in community events, like the upcoming “Kick Off to Summer” event. We hope have an official ribbon cutting ceremony very soon, please stay tuned for more details.
And if you're in our 'hood, please drop by and check out CurlyRed's new digs!
