It's that time of year again—presentation time! CurlyRed is always honored to be a part of these great events. You can catch our president and principal designer, M. Kendall Ludwig, presenting at the following:
from Towson University's website: “On Saturday April 2, 2016, Towson University will be hosting the Women in Leadership (WIL) Conference, Presented by the Center for Student Diversity. This conference will increase the leadership capacity of female students and prepares them for success in the workplace. This is a selective event; only 100 students nominated by deans, faculty members or staff, are invited to attend. Students participate in a full-day conference with workshops presented by alumnae, local businesswomen and Towson faculty. The program also includes a post-conference networking event where a small group of students connect with college deans and conference
In the morning, industry leaders from independent design studio CurlyRed and the US Food and Drug Administration will give talks discussing the different skills needed to succeed in the professional world. These talks will be followed by a keynote talk from the Exhibit Design Team from the National Aquarium. After lunch, students will present their portfolios to regional design professionals and receive constructive, one-on-one evaluations.AIGA Baltimore is excited to host this annual event that brings together students and professionals who share a passion for design and its future. Join us and share your excitement on social media using the hashtag #inknpix16.”
Kendall is excited to present: "Are Virtual Teams the Future?" and will explore the beauty and the dangers of collaboration, delegation, and the freedom of working remotely, as a team, for a single purpose.
And last, but not least, Kendall is humbled and honored to preach this Sunday, March 13th at 9:30am, at her home church, New Hope Community Church, in Catonsville. The sermon is entitled "Sheep and harps, slingshots and hearts" and will be exploring David and his kingship. We would be thrilled to have you visit our church (there is even a wonderful children's ministry if you have a family).
If you do make it out to any of these talks, please say hi! Kendall would love to connect with you.
